Close Cash is an independent artist from Burlington County, NJ. His first taste of music was with the children's choir, and later adolescent choir, at Willingboro Presbyterian Church.
He began to learn piano in the 2nd grade and then percussion (via Cherokee High School Band and Orchestra) from his Sophmore to Senior year of high school. His first start in rap was with the "Rhyme Soul-Jahs" in the 6th grade.
He released his first mixtape, "Smooth Sailings" in January of 2012 under the name of Alovett. After taking a hiatus from music, he released his first self-produced project, "Neck Of The Woods (Part One)" in November of 2017.
In May of 2018, he relocated to Philadelphia, PA where he met Hashland (an Artist & DJ) via an iffe Lifted show at Kung Fu Necktie. Close Cash became fully immersed in the Philadelphia music scene and released his first album, "4:08", a year later on May 30th, 2019.
In January of 2020, Close Cash teamed up with Hashland and Myka to create the Supergroup known as TIL-3. All three mesh together to create an alternative hip-hop sound that embodies the true spirit of underground nightlife and all it has to offer.
Fast forward to 2022, Close Cash is now on a tangent like no other after dropping projects by the name of "Private Party" (2021) (with a deluxe version to match) and his most recent EP, "Dose Of Rage" (2021). Now after teaming up with the producer duo, Ovrthnk, their collab album "Motion Sickness" is about to set the bar. Everything from the sound, to the image and live shows has entered an echelon ready to put Cash in a league of his own.
